The site provide the previous year semester question papers of Pondicherry University in a repository kind for various courses offered in the five departments of Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science

This webpage serves as Question paper repository for the semester examination conducted by Pondicherry University, the idea behind this is the examinations conducted during corona period (Oct-Nov 2020) by Pondicherry University in accordance with the judgement issued by Supreme court, since as per the judgement an University should conduct semester examinations for the passing out student before declaring results. Based on this guidelines, most of the universities in India have opted for online based examination, Pondicherry University also approved online conductance as open book examination. A few students who appeared in offline were also allowed to use the notes and books in the examination hall as its an open book examination.
While online mode of exam conductance was approved by Pondicherry University, colleges including mine were little reluctant in taking up an online based conductance as its first attempt and moreover a doubt prevailed on how offline and online may go simultaneously. But I need to thank Asst. Superintendent Dr. N. Sivakoumar for believing in myself for configuring the DHTE google drive for examination and his idea of using one separate email for a department and to perform a test run in the penultimate week of exams. Special thanks to Mr. ChandraMouli, Asst. who has understood my idea and translated into workable system. I also like to thank Ms. Gayathri (Tech. Asst., Computer Science) and Mr. Manikandan (Lab Asst. Biotechnology) who strived hard and taken care to check the quality of the received answer sheets for taking printout. For the arrear examinations conducted (1st Oct – 31st Oct) I have handled the responsibility of Assistant Superintendent

For onward sending of Q papers to students, I hailed Mouli’s effort for scanning the Q paper and sending to the students, with this, all the Q papers of this current semester period (Oct-Nov 2020) were available in the e-format with us, this captivated me to develop this QUESTION PAPER REPOSITORY, as I believe it will be of great help for the students and teachers in the coming years.
